Physiotherapy
Opening Hours - Monday to Friday from 8 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon.
Consultations - By appointment. Appointments are available usually on the same day or within one day.
Home Visits - If you are unable to travel to one of our practices due to lack of mobility or pain, we are available to come to your place of residence and carry out physiotherapy treatment in the comfort of your own home. Home visits generally last one hour and include assessment and treatment by your physiotherapist.
Male and female therapists are available for both consultations and home visits.
Pricing - Discounts are available for Pensioner and Senior Card holders.

Payment Options - We have several convenient methods to process your payment. We accept most major credit cards, as well as cheques and cash.
Our offices are equipped with the HICAPS instant rebate system which can process all private health insurance physiotherapy claims on the spot. You only have to pay the gap.
Physiotherapy covered by Medicare - Patients must have an EPC plan (Enhanced Primary Care Programme) developed by their GP (MBS-720, 722, 730). To be eligible for management under the EPC the patient must have one or more chronic conditions which have lasted or is/are likely to last for at least six months or a terminal condition and have complex needs requiring multi disciplinary care from a GP and at least two other allied health care providers.
GP’s must use an allied health referral form to refer patients for physiotherapy. Patients receive a maximum of five treatments per calendar year. Complex conditions which may benefit from physiotherapy include:
- Mobility problems;
- Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis;
- Musculoskeletal disorders;
- Chronic pain conditions e.g. low back pain;
- General de conditioning.
Sports Event Coverage
Our physiotherapists have provided direct sport physiotherapy coverage services for many sporting teams, including:
- St George Illawara Dragons NRL,
- NSW Men's and Women's Baseball,
- Southern District Rugby Union,
- Engadine Lions Rugby Union.

Massage Therapy
Karen Bates is a fully qualified massage therapist who practices both remedial and Swedish massage. She is based at our Helensburgh practice and also offers a mobile service.
Massage Therapy is covered under private health insurance ancillary cover. Health fund rebates can be claimed at the time of consultation through our HICAPS system.
Cost is $60.00 for one hour and $40.00 for half an hour.
